Mind Matters

Mind Matters is a short film displaying the silent struggle many individuals experience during their depressive episodes. As important as this topic may be, it is often overlooked especially amongst the black male community. We decided to voice our perspective through this powerful short film.

Josef Adamu is a creative storyteller, brand director, and entrepreneur from Toronto, Canada. As a man of many hats, Adamu aims to execute ideas that provide extensive knowledge, inspiration, and everlasting memories for viewers. He believes visual communication is at the forefront of storytelling, thus, uses his conceptual vision to share original experiences with the world. With a background strongly influenced by education, film, sports, and fashion, Adamu strives to communicate stories like never before. In 2017, Adamu founded a creative agency named Sunday School Creative, an entity dedicated to visual storytelling. As a leader of the agency, Josef collaborates with over creatives to tell empowering stories through photography and videography. Mind Matters is one of the most important pieces created to date!
